Revelers on the Town Square gave thanks to the benevolent spirit of the Tetons on Friday night and appeased the fiery dities of the Yellowstone caldara.
In between they partied down Japanese-style, munching on Yakisoba (fried noodles), sipping tea and sake and shopping for daruma dolls and happy cats, with the rhythmic beats of taiko - "fat drums" - as background music.
