Eighteen-year-old Jackson native Willie Neal was one of three young pledged Barack Obama delegates from Wyoming to the 2008 Democratic National Convention. People understand the phenomenon of young Obama delegates, but Neal's strange mix of political wisdom and awkward enthusiastic wonder seemed to disarm other delegates from across the country. The fact he is from the Republican stronghold state of Wyoming just completes the package.
