Plan pickle
County commissioners and planning commissioners have apparently reached an impasse as to how the review process for the new comprehensive plan should proceed. After taking criticism from elected officials, planning commissioners held firm in their decision to send the plan back to staff to rework.

Design maven and blogger Blair Friedeman provides tips for redecorating on a budget. Her blog includes riffs on a color, a clothing designer, fireplaces and window seats. Within the past year, she’s attracted 241 “followers” and gets 1,000 hits per day.
Taking a ride
Rodeo is something kids are typically bred into. However, Buskin and Brandi Wilson are making sure kids who haven’t grown up around rodeos have an opportunity to learn how to ride bulls. The Wilsons have opened a sheep and bull riding clinic on their ranch.

Ted Dawson began growing out his hair a year and a half ago after his wife challenged him to do so 13 months in advance of his 40th birthday. Now, Dawson has found a way to use his long hair to help cancer patients as well as the Jackson USA Wrestling Club.
