A recent graduate of Jackson Hole High School died in an automobile crash Saturday in the Snake River Canyon.

Erin Goodman, 18, lost control of her vehicle while traveling in the northbound lane of Highway 26/89 near Astoria Hot Springs, authorities said. The vehicle crossed over the southbound lane, hit a tree and ended up on its roof.

Goodman, who lived in Star Valley but attended Jackson schools and graduated in 2008, was pronounced dead on the scene, Teton County Coroner Bob Campbell said.

No other information was available from the Wyoming Highway Patrol on Sunday afternoon.
