It’s in the poop
A study published recently in the journal Nature provides evidence that the mysterious chronic wasting disease can be transmitted among animals through feces. The results could have implications for Wyoming elk feedgrounds, where thousands of animals congregate and come in contact with fecal matter, the study’s authors say.

Cameron Hoffman, of Clearfield, Utah, set a course record Saturday in winning the Logan to Jackson Classic road bike race. Hoffman pedaled the 206-mile course from Logan, Utah, to Teton Village in about nine hours and finished a fraction of a second ahead of David Francis, of Las Vegas.
