Hospital housing
St. John’s Medical Center backed out of a deal with the Jackson Hole Community Housing Trust after deciding the housing the two planned to build would be too expensive. Hospital officials also said going through with the project would be fiscally irresponsible because it wouldn’t meet the needs of its employees.

Coney, a miniature  American Eskimo dog who was the inspiration for the Coney Classic Ski-Jor race that raised thousands of dollars for charity, died Aug. 13 at the age of 16. Take a look back at Coney’s memorable life.
