Offices closing during Thanksgiving holiday

The following is a list of some offices in the community that will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday.


– The Jackson/Teton County Recreation Center will be closed Thursday and will have shortened holiday hours of noon until 7 p.m. Friday.


– Teton County Library will be closed Thursday.


– The Center for the Arts will be closed Thursday and Friday, with normal hours resuming Saturday. The Center Box Office will be closed Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It will reopen at 1 p.m. Sunday to sell tickets for the Golden Dragon Acrobats. Patrons may also buy tickets online.


– The National Museum of Wildlife Art will be closed Thursday. The galleries, shop and Rising Sage Cafe will reopen during regular hours Friday.


– START buses will not be operating Thursday, the only day of the year START does not have service.


– Teton County government offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.

– The Jackson Hole News&Guide offices will close at noon Wednesday and will reopen for normal business hours at 8 a.m. Friday.


– Town of Jackson government offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.


– The Wyoming Department of Transportation and Wyoming Highway Patrol administrative offices on South Highway 89 will be closed Thursday. Offices will reopen Friday, and drivers’ services will be offered from 7:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m.


– Teton County Sheriff’s Office administrative offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Patrols will be on a regular schedule.


– Jackson Police Department administrative offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Patrols will be on a regular schedule.


– The 9th Circuit Court will be closed Thursday and Friday.


– The 9th District Court will be closed Thursday and Friday.


– The Teton County prosecuting attorney’s office will be closed Thursday and Friday.


– All Teton County School District No. 1 facilities will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.


– Journeys School will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.


– Jackson Hole Community School closed Monday for a holiday break. Classes will resume Monday.


– Bridger-Teton National Forest administrative offices will be closed Thursday.


– Grand Teton National Park administrative offices will be closed Thursday. The park’s Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center will have limited hours, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.


– National Elk Refuge administrative offices will be closed Thursday.


–The Jackson Hole and Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center will be closed Thursday.
