A ranch divided
The largest single tract adjacent to Jackson town limits is undergoing a transition. The 900-acre Jackson Hole Hereford Ranch is being divided among heirs of Robert Bruce Porter in a move that could have wide-ranging implications for how the South Park land could be developed.
Travels with Max
Roughly 50 years after John Steinbeck crossed America in search of sociological knowledge for the book “Travels With Charley: In Search of America,” Gregory Ziegler repeated the journey. His dog, Max, accompanied him on the adventure. They met Steinbeck’s son and sussed out people’s stories.
