Seeking seats

Skiers and snowboarders own Jackson Hole Mountain Resort during the day. At night, however, the ski runs at the resort belong to a team of more than 12 snowcat drivers who spend 16 hours each night grooming runs and preparing the mountain for the next day.

Few fashion designers wrap up their first year with a runway show at New York Fashion Week. Fewer still do so a month shy of their first anniversary. Jackson Hole-rooted designers Gillian Mahin and Laura Hall are among those fortunate few.
