Jackson and Teton County planning commissioners will continue their discussion about how to promote a diverse and balanced economy during a meeting tonight.
Planning commissioners are slated to meet at 5:30 p.m. in the county commissioners’ chambers, 200 S. Willow St., to continue their review of the chapter of the Jackson/Teton County Comprehensive Plan that pertains to the local economy.
Some of the discussion points expected to be covered at tonight’s meeting include how to address the primary segments of the local economy — tourism and real estate — what kind of diversity is needed to establish a self-reliant economy, what kinds of policies should be included regarding local ownership of businesses and how Teton County’s “outdoor recreational experience” should be addressed in the plan.
A full agenda and a staff report are available at www.jacksontetonplan.com or at either the town or county planning departments.
