www.IC21.orgInterConnections 21 will host a reception at the Jackson Hole Community School to kick off Teton County Model UN 2012. Refugees International Representative to the UN, Michelle Brown, will discuss her advocacy work that includes the protection of internally displaced people and refugees, reintegration assistance in post-conflict situations, and support for children affected by armed conflict. Currently based in New York, she has conducted over 20 field assessments in the Horn of Africa, West Africa, Afghanistan, Latin America & Asia.
Brown will be introduced by Teton County Model UN Secretary-General, Addie Henderson. Student leaders from JHHS, JH Community School, and Journeys School will be in attendance.
