Yellowstone officials saw few violators during the first few months of a new prohibition against drones launched from National Park Service land.

But last weekend someone flew his drone into Yellowstone’s world famous Grand Prismatic Spring. The drone is still submerged somewhere in the massive hot spring’s 160-degree waters.

All those features and attractions in Yellowstone and on other federal lands, not to mention state lands, will end up being closed and out of reach for the public to experience without a guide because of a few ignorant worthless self centered A-holes. There isn't a way to keep the morons from being stupid without a watchful eye on them at all times. This guy broke the law, a federal law, lock his stupid butt up for a few years and use him as an example of what is to come to others who choose to do the same thing.
