Obituaries
Deadline: 12 p.m. Sunday. A simple death note may be submitted as late as 10 a.m. on Monday, but to budget appropriate space, full obituaries must be in our office by noon on Sunday.

Length restriction: Most are 200-600 words. We will consider publishing up to 2,000 words for a person with much history in the community.
Content: We require the following information on the deceased: Name, age, day and place of death, town of residence and years resided here. Most people include information on services, survivors, suggested memorial contributions and a brief life sketch.
Other requirements: Obituaries are for current or former Jackson Hole residents only.

Book or CD review
Authors or musicians are welcome to submit their new book or CD for possible review. Please drop off materials at least two weeks before a book signing, CD release party or related music performance.

Photo submission guidelines
Photos may be submitted with any obituary, wedding or engagement announcement. If sent electronically, they should be a high-resolution file (6-8 inches on the long side at 200 dpi) in jpeg format. As a general rule, please don't compress or resize the file; email the full-size, high-quality image.

We also accept images for consideration for our Reader-submitted Photo Gallery on our Web site. These can be emailed at 6-8 inches on the long side at 72 dpi. Limit two submissions per reader per month. Submitted photos MUST NOT be digitally altered or excessively toned or sharpened.

Birth Announcements
We do not publish birth announcements. Copy that does not fall into these categories may be considered for editorial stories, depending on newsworthiness.
