Whoa there, prayer

Members of the Jackson Town Council may not have gone far enough in regulating prayer at the Jackson Hole Rodeo, according to the American Civil Liberties Union. The group contends the town could be violating citizens’ constitutional rights by allowing any kind of prayer.

Growing into tradition

Moose on a tear

Another close hockey game Friday night ended in shootout fireworks as the Moose downed the Bozeman (Mont.) Stingers. Then, as has become its modus operandi, the home team buried the Stingers 9-4 the very next night.

Lighten up

Starting today and continuing all week, meditation groups, drum circles, yoga sessions and other rites and ceremonies help Jackson welcome the return of the sun. The celebration culminates in the “Solstice Awakening” on Saturday at the Teton Science Schools’ Jackson campus.
