Presidents’ Day stops much public business

Today is a federal holiday, and many offices and banks are closed.
The offices of the town of Jackson are closed, as are the offices of Teton County government, including the Teton County Courthouse.
Public schools are closed, as are United States Postal Service post offices.
Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks are open. The administrative offices of the two national parks are closed. The Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center in Moose is open.
The offices of the Bridger-Teton National Forest are closed.
Offices of the National Elk Refuge are closed, but the Jackson Hole and Greater Yellowstone Visitor Center on North Cache is open and will offer a family program (see Community Calendar). Sleigh rides on the National Elk Refuge will continue over the holiday.
