“Fall Into Winter” gallery show and online sale by Susan M. Rose
Through Jan. 31, the Downtown Driggs Association presents an art show that can be viewed online and at Driggs City Center, 60 S. Main, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Fridays. An award-winning local artist, Rose is predominantly a landscape painter whose surfaces are as rich as the terrain she hikes to. She aims to represent her powerful surroundings through a simpler lens. Rose is able to represent in her landscapes the elusiveness of light and shadow. Rose is also passionate about supporting local nonprofits. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Downtown Driggs Association and the Teton Regional Land Trust.
