Powerhouse pianist Yefim Bronfman returns to the Festival with Rachmaninoff’s Third Piano Concerto, a piece lauded for its grand beauty and technical challenge. Sibelius’s Finnish fairytale, En saga, opens the concert. In Brahms’ Variations on a Theme by Haydn, each section of the orchestra is given a chance to shine.
