• An article printed in Friday’s edition, “Santa brings bicycles,” did not give the background on a program that provides bicycles and board games for low-income families. Georgia Ligori clarified that the endeavor began nine years ago as an offshoot of the Good Samaritan Mission’s Totes of Hope program. In its early years, the effort saw Westbank Sanitation buying, assembling and delivering the 40 bikes. Several years later, the Turner family took over the project.
