Obituary - Todd Harley

Todd Harley

A memorial celebration for Todd Harley, a 49-year-resident of Wilson, is scheduled for 5 p.m. June 18 at the Old Wilson Schoolhouse Community Center.

Harley died on Old Pass Road on June 5. Hikers found Harley slumped over on the road around noon. Harley said he was OK but then collapsed after he tried to stand, according to the Teton County Sheriff’s Office. The hikers started CPR and hiked up the road to get cell service to call for help. Jackson Hole Fire/EMS arrived and continued CPR, but Harley could not be revived.

Harley, 72, worked as a ski patroller at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for 25 years. Most recently, he volunteered with the adaptive skier program. His obituary is scheduled to appear in Wednesday’s Jackson Hole News&Guide.

Todd will be missed, but we are grateful for all he did for the community and adaptive skiers.
