County commissioners are hiring a third-party firm to survey Teton County workers about organizational culture and management.

Commissioners agreed last week to pay $5,500 to Custom Insight to survey about 200 employees over the next several months. County Human Resources Director Julianne Fries said of two proposals received, Custom Insight offered the most tools for the best price.

“They will actually use AI to drill down into some of the responses and highlight the areas of focus,” Fries said.

Right now, the survey covers only departments overseen by the county board. Commissioners plan to ask other elected offices, such as the Teton County Sheriff’s Office and Teton County Clerk’s office, if they want their staffs to participate in the survey.
