Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling Trash Transfer Station

All od Teton County’s trash passes through the Integrated Solid Waste and Recycling Trash Transfer Station. And in July, more trash passed through it than in any month before. One major culprit of the sudden influx of garbage is construction and demolition waste.

Banks and post offices are closed Monday for Columbus Day. The Teton County Trash Transfer Station is also closed. While other Teton County departments do not observe Columbus Day, the Idaho landfill where Teton County dumps its trash does. Regular business hours will resume Tuesday, with the Recycling Center open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
