Columnist preaches to choir

Washington Post columnist Gary Abernathy’s opinion piece in the Oct. 15-16 edition of the Jackson Hole Daily [“Is the sermon finally over? Panel again preaches to choir”] deserved its location at the bottom of the page as his latest offering to the pyre of journalistic self-immolation. In it, he suggests that boredom should now be added to the arsenal of denial, obfuscation, omission and deflection in the toolbox of right-wing politics.
