Saturday night was a bitter sweet one at the Jackson Hole Rodeo. Taytan Wild had attended JH Rodeos the past few years, learning the ropes of bull riding. He would travel from Big Piney with his family to attend the rodeos. However, Wild passed away this April after an accident. To honor his memory, the winning bull rider of the night was awarded a Taytan Wild Memorial belt buckle, presented by Wild's parents Misty and Chris Meeks, along with a $500 prize. This tradition will continue for years to come during the first rodeo of August.
