Last Sunday, Jackson Town Square was filled with protestors in support of the Black Lives Matter movement that has garnered international attention following the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis on May 25. Jackson's demonstration lasted for three hours and attracted a large crowd of protestors holding signs and chanting as well as a steady stream of cars, some decorated in Black Lives Matter banners, that honked and waved as they passed the square.
