A mountain lion was spotted Wednesday on High School Butte, occasionally leaving the cover of a juniper tree to descend onto a carcass further downhill. The animal's presence prompted the Teton County School District to send out a warning to parents to remind their children who ride their bikes or walk to school to be aware of their surroundings.
