Antler hunt

Brendan Deason from Elkton, Ky., holds up his favorite find from opening day Friday, a matching set of elk antler sheds. Deason has been coming to the shed hunt for eight years and this year he was 33rd in line. “It’s something about the rush to beat people out here,” Deason said. That day he found six antlers and was planning on staying for a few more days to continue looking.
