Lodging properties are busy

Lodging properties in Jackson Hole were roughly 92% booked going into last weekend.

As of Wednesday, June 2, properties participating in the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce’s Weekend Occupancy Outlook Straw Poll had 91.9% occupancy on the books for Friday, June 4, and Saturday, June 5.

The straw poll includes 16 Jackson and Teton Village lodging properties as well as a couple of property management companies.

Last weekend, May 28-29, occupancy hit 88.2%.

Next weekend, June 11 and 12, has 89.2% occupancy on the books.

“I do not see our area any busier than we have seen in the past,” the chamber’s Kent Elliott wrote in his report. “It is just starting sooner, creating that more year-round sustainable economy we have been working towards.”
