BECAUSE THE JACKSON HOLE AIRPORT was closed during most of June as its runway was being replaced, its June enplanement count was 2,788. This is about the same number of enplanements as in May 2020, when the airport was first easing out of its COVID-19-induced coma.

We are currently emerging from the great economic experiment that was the temporary closure of the Jackson Hole Airport. To make possible the reconstruction of its runway, the airport was shut between April 11 and June 28; thus, June’s figure incorporated only 3 days of activity.
