SEPTEMBER’S ENPLANEMENT COUNT AT Jackson Hole Airport totaled 48,868, a hefty 10% increase over September 2018. September 2019’s enplanement count was the highest September enplanement total in the airport’s history. During the fiscal year ending in September, 449,128 people boarded a commercial flight at Jackson Hole Airport, 15% more than the number who enplaned during the previous 12 months. That marked the busiest 12-month period in the airport’s history and is the 15th such record-setting month in the past 16.

SEPTEMBER VISITATION DATA FOR GRAND Teton National Park weren’t available at press time. In August, recreational visits to Teton park totaled 702,022, 3% more than in August 2018. During the fiscal year ending in August, 3,467,070 people paid a recreational visit to the park, 2% more than the number who visited during the previous 12 months. Year to date, Teton park’s recreational visitation count is down 1%. Between 2008 and 2018, visitation increased 40%, a compounded annual rate of 3.4%.

IN SEPTEMBER, RECREATIONAL VISITS to Yellowstone National Park totaled 693,118, down 4% from September 2018. During the fiscal year ending in September, 4,062,120 people paid a recreational visit to Yellowstone, down 1% from the previous 12 months. Year to date, the recreational visitation count is down 1%. Between 2008 and 2018, visitation increased 32%, a compounded annual rate of 2.8%.
