UPDATE, 10:50 a.m.: The Jackson Police Department is searching for a suspect in the morning robbery of the Bank of Jackson Hole.

Police report a male subject walked into the bank at approximately 9:45 a.m. today and produced a note demanding money, Lt. Roger Schultz said. No weapon was shown in the encounter.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet fall, wearing a black beanie and dark coat.

It's unknown if the suspect escaped on foot or in a vehicle. Police are declining to say how much money was stolen in the encounter.
