Every week Jackson Hole residents have opportunities to engage with the local political process.

Though county meetings are back open to the public, you can still watch town and county meetings online at JacksonWY.gov and TetonCountyWy.gov. Here’s a list of some government and volunteer board meetings scheduled in Teton County and beyond in the coming weeks.

Wednesday, Sept. 16

• Jackson Hole Airport Board: The board will enter into executive session at 7 a.m., followed by a special board meeting for consideration of normal agenda items at 8 a.m. Find info and links to watch the meeting online at JacksonHoleAirport.com/meeting.

• Town: Planning and Zoning Commission regular meeting at 5:30 p.m., Town Hall, 150 E. Pearl Ave., or online at JacksonWY.gov.

Thursday, Sept. 17

• Teton County Library Board: Regular monthly meeting, noon, Ordway Auditorium. Audience can call in; contact communications@tclib.org. TCLib.org.

Friday, Sept. 18

• General Election: The absentee polling site opens for the general election. Absentee polling is open through Nov. 2, in the basement of the Teton County Administration Building at 200 S. Willow St., Jackson. Online info at TetonWyo.org/269/Absentee-Voting.

• Town and county: Monthly COVID-19 community update, 3 p.m., streamed live on town of Jackson website, JacksonWY.gov (click “Watch a Meeting” icon). Also broadcast live on local radio stations KJAX (93.5 FM), KHOL (89.1 FM) and KMTN (96.9 FM) and archived on town’s website.

Monday, Sept. 21

• County: Teton County Board of County Commissioners voucher meeting, 9 a.m., commissioners’ chambers, 200 S. Willow St. TetonCountyWY.gov. Payment of county vouchers and administrative matters.
