Every week Jackson Hole residents have opportunities to engage with the local political process.

Though county meetings are back open to the public, you can still watch town and county meetings online at JacksonWY.gov and TetonCountyWy.gov. Here’s a list of some government and volunteer board meetings scheduled in Teton County and beyond in the coming weeks:

Wednesday, Sept. 2

• Town: Planning and Zoning Commission regular meeting, 5:30 p.m., Jackson Town Council chambers, 150 E. Pearl Ave. JacksonWY.gov.

Monday, Sept. 7

• Government offices closed for Labor Day holiday.

Tuesday, Sept. 8

• County: Teton County Board of County Commissioners voucher meeting, 9 a.m., commissioners’ chambers, 200 S. Willow St. TetonCountyWY.gov. Payment of county vouchers and administrative matters.

• Town: Town Council regular meeting, 6 p.m., Jackson Town Council chambers, 150 E. Pearl Ave. JacksonWY.gov.

Wednesday, Sept. 9

• Teton County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees: Regular monthly meeting, 6 p.m., school district administration building, 1235 Gregory Lane. Also conducted via Webex. TCSD.org.

Monday, Sept. 14

• County: Teton County Board of County Commissioners voucher meeting, 9 a.m., commissioners’ chambers, 200 S. Willow St. TetonCountyWY.gov. Payment of county vouchers and administrative matters.

• Town and county: Jackson Town Council and Teton County Board of County Commissioners joint information meeting, 3 p.m., commissioners’ chambers, 200 S. Willow St. Town Council and County Commission should be presented with a draft request for proposals for neighborhood planning northern South Park and discuss housing mitigation rates. Tuesday, Sept. 15

• County: Teton County Board of County Commissioners regular meeting, 9 a.m., commissioners’ chambers, 200 S. Willow St. County Commission will hear the Gill’s proposal to rezone 74 acres of northern South Park for housing. Planning Commission recommended denial on Aug. 24. TetonCountyWY.gov.
