Larry Pardee departure

Town councilors, county commissioners and staff applaud Larry Pardee on his last day after 18 years in local public service.

For his last Town Manager’s Report after 18 years serving the town of Jackson, Larry Pardee made a final request Monday night: Pay town workers more.

Elaborating on the typical call to “recruit and retain,” Pardee said another 3% adjustment as soon as next payroll would help “stabilize” and show appreciation to the understaffed town.
