Altamira

Utah painter Jared Sanders enjoys a showcase at Altamira Fine Art through the end of the month, with a reception set for Thursday. This is “Coming In.”

In most landscape paintings the horizon line sits where the ground ends and the sky begins.

Artist Jared Sanders wanted to try something different in his newest body of work — paintings without a defined horizon line, where the scene exists within the frame of the canvas but without an obvious beginning or end to the ground or sky.
