The Jackson Hole News spotlighted a new business. "Since St. Patrick's Day the ovens at Bru's Buns and Breads have been working 24 hours a day turning out goodies for pastry and bread lovers of all ages." It quoted founder Laurel "Bru" Wicks: "I saw the need for a good bakery in Jackson and started working on setting up the bakery in late September."

There will be a shuffling of leadership on the Teton Conservation District Board of Directors this year, with one member stepping down and another being elevated to a voting member. Two other voting board members will move on in their roles facing no opposition.
