Middle hitter Bella Santomauro spikes the ball during the volleyball match between Jackson Hole and Star Valley High School on Wednesday.

The Broncs volleyball team split its matches last week, falling to Star Valley 3-1 on Wednesday before defeating winless Green River 3-0 on the road in a Saturday afternoon match.

Despite Wednesday’s loss the Broncs volleyball team raised over $3,000 by selling pink shirts for the “Pink Out” game in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with all proceeds going to the Cancer Patient Support Fund through the St. John’s foundation.

In Saturday’s bounceback victory, sophomore Karsen Breeding led the team with 17 kills, while senior Bella Santomauro contributed with 13.
