Police Blotter

Indecent adjusting: A woman called police on Saturday because a man had his penis out at a gas station. She was disturbed because the man was gripping his private part with a full palm and fingers in plain sight. Police arrived and the suspect told them that he was simply adjusting himself because “his penis had slipped out of his underwear and it was between his underwear and his zipper.” The 53-year-old Jackson man was cited for public indecency.

Drive-in movies: Someone ran into the Red Box movie rental machine at Maverick with their car and did $3,500 in damage. It happened around 2 a.m. Oct. 1, police said. An employee heard the bang but was too busy to go outside to see what had happened. Video of the collision is pending.

Fruit of the Loin: A Lincoln County teenager who was pulled over for not having license plates on his truck hid his drug paraphernalia in his underwear, police said. Officers also located a jar of marijuana and a pipe. The driver said his passenger was responsible for some of the drugs. The 19-year-old and 24-year-old were arrested for possession.
