Blood drive

Hunter McCrary, a phlebotomist with the United Blood Services, collects vials from a donor during the last year's blood drive at Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church.

The Jackson Community Blood Drive was cancelled this morning due to the winter storm moving into town.

It was supposed to take place today, starting at 11 a.m., and Thursday, at Shepherd of the Mountains. Winter weather and road closures forced the cancellation.
