CAUGHT ON CAMERA: It's snow joke

What do Jackson Hole residents do when the weekend brings more than a foot of new snow and some disappointing school and ski resort closures due to a global virus pandemic?

They relieve the tension with a sense of humor — mountain-town style. Thanks to Karen Hogan and team for this work of creative inspiration in the Jackson Town Square.

"My friend Shelby Blankenship noted what great snowman snow we are getting last night," Hogan said. "She had the idea to build a snowman with a surgical mask, just to try to have some fun and lighten the mood surrounding Covid-19."

So Hogan, her son Finn Hogan and Blankenship's daughter Ella Weimar made a thermos of hot chocolate and headed to the Town Square to make the snowman Sunday morning.

"We had a blast and passers-by had a great time taking selfies with our snowman," Hogan said.

And as long as we're lightening the mood with a little snowman humor, do you know where snowmen put their money?
