Intersection of Highway 22 and Spring Gulch Road

Portions of Spring Gulch Road, shown at its intersection with Highway 22 in this file photo, will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday this week for maintenance.

Teton County will close part of Spring Gulch Road for maintenance work Wednesday and Thursday.

That's a departure from the original plan, which was to close the road Tuesday and Wednesday.

The road will be closed from Lucas Riva Ridge Road to Bar BC Ranch Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday.

The closure is for road repair and grading.

"Drivers who regularly use Spring Gulch road throughout the day should plan to use an alternative route early next week," Teton County said in a press release.

The press release also said the grading operations are "needed to ensure a safe road for all users."
