Teton County Fair closures

Pee-Wee Showmanship competitors practice with their horses at a prior year's Teton County Fair. Teton County has announced closures to accommodate the 2019 fair, as well as upcoming work at the Snake River Bridge levee.

The public levee at the southwest corner of the Snake River Bridge is closing Monday through Wednesday next week, July 15-17, so crews can spray for weeds.

The parking lot will also be closed. The levee is set to reopen Thursday, July 18.

The Grassy Arena at the Teton County Fairgrounds is also closed as of July 9. The area will be fenced off for the duration of the Teton County Fair, which ends July 28.

The closure is a directive from the Teton County Health Department to keep the vendor area clean and safe for fairgoers. All animal-related shows will be moved to the Mateosky Ballfield or to the South Grassy Lawn by the Exhibit Hall, a county press release stated.
