Road work

Road projects on tap.

Expect a longer trip time if you're heading south out of town.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation will begin road work on a 3-mile section of US 26/89/189/191, scheduled to begin May 4 and run through the end of October. WYDOT's community notice said the work will begin at mile marker 148.70, just south of the Town of Jackson.

During milling and paving operations, the section will be reduced to a single lane in each direction, so WYDOT is asking travelers to plan accordingly and allow themselves enough time to reach their destination.
