Scholarship Night

The Rotary Club of Jackson Hole celebrated its third consecutive year of record fundraising by awarding 33 graduating high school students with a total of $172,500 in scholarships, according to a press release.

"The Rotary Lunch Club of Jackson Hole is incredibly proud to support our high school students with significant college scholarships that will help transform their lives,” Club President Tony Paulus said.

Scholarship Committee Chair Jeff Ward introduced each student to the club at a celebratory lunch on June 4 at Snow King Hotel. Ward said the committee’s goal has been to look for ways to help students not just start college but get to the finish line.

“We have been able to expand upon the number of students getting multi-year scholarships and those that will get increased annual amounts when they move from community college to a four-year institution,” Ward said.
