These days, it seems like everybody has a summer concert series.
Every town, that is.
Whether on the west side of the Tetons (Music on Main in Victor, Idaho) or the east (JacksonHoleLive or the Save the Block concert series in Jackson), there's a long list of free (or nearly free) summer music to pick from.
And now, Concerts on the Commons, the annual summer concert series that takes place at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village, has joined the fray. The lineup for the series' 10th season was announced this week, adding nine dates and headlining acts to the mix.
JacksonHoleLive's lineup draws heavily on americana and roots music. Music on Main's is an eclectic mix of americana, soul and a psychedelic cover band (Pinky and the Floyds). Concerts on the Commons, by contrast, is horn- and world-music heavy, with performances from the Lowdown Brass Band and the New Orleans Suspects as well as the local latin- and salsa-inspired band, Calle Mambo, all thrown into the pot.
All but one date, the August 4 show, have been announced. The full lineup can be found below.
