Amy Manhart and Esther Ellis keep racking up accolades.
The Fund for Public Education and the Rotary Club of Jackson Hole Foundation announced Thursday that the pair of Teton County School District No. 1 employees, along with art teacher Lauren Brzozowski, were the recipients of the 2021 Quality Educator Grants. The awards "celebrate teachers and school staff who go above and beyond to create a more impactful and positive learning environment for local students," a press release said.
Manhart is a science teacher at Jackson Hole Middle School, and Ellis is the nurse for several elementary schools. They were honored recently as the district's teacher and staff member of the year.
The grants are $1,000, and the educators will be celebrated at an upcoming Rotary Club lunch.
