Pathway closure by Giants Field

Pathway users, pump the brakes.

Starting Monday, the section of pathway adjacent to the baseball field near the high school will close to allow construction of an indoor batting facility where the outdoor one sits now.

Have no fear, it’s only for a little while. A press release from Teton County Parks and Recreation said the path should reopen in mid- to late March.

Users will be able to reach the same places the pathway accesses — except the Teton County School District No. 1 parking lot — by following the path that parallels High School Road, then turning onto the one on Middle School Road. Plowing will continue on the path that runs from Gregory Lane along Flat Creek.
