Fire damaged a Dornan’s kitchen Wednesday evening during a private Nat Geo Wild event that was part of the Jackson Wild Summit.

Kitchen staff suppressed most of the fire with extinguishers before crews from Jackson Hole Fire/EMS and Grand Teton National Park responded at 6:04 p.m., according to a county press release. Responders successfully extinguished the fire and no one was injured. Fire and smoke damaged the kitchen in the Chuckwagon area at Moose. Fire Marshal Kathy Clay is investigating the cause.

Jackson Hole Fire/EMS is reminding the public that fire extinguishers are helpful to tackle small blazes.
