Highway 89 construction

Construction continues recently along Highway 89 south of Jackson. The project between Hoback Junction and Jackson is expected to wrap up in 2020.

As WYDOT's work on South Highway 89 progresses, crews will soon be moving traffic onto new bridges at the Snake River and Flat Creek bridges, a release said. Crews are currently working to pave and stripe the new detour.

WYDOT spokesman Stephanie Harsha said traffic will be running on the completed part of the bridge's new alignment.

Drivers should use caution, abide by speed limits and slow down in the active construction zone.
