Obituary - Pattie Williams

Pattie Williams

Patricia “Pattie” G. Williams, 68, of Park Rapids, Minnesota, died May 17 at her home. She was 68.

Pattie was born March 11, 1953 in Pontiac, Michigan. She grew up in Michigan, graduated from high school, attended college and then moved to Jackson Hole.

She loved life, and, if it had a throttle, it was wide open, typifying the way she lived her life. There were few adrenaline-pumping, daring adventures she wouldn’t try. She was a world-class downhill skier, mountain snowmobiler, ATV racer, horseback- elk-hunting avid outdoors woman who loved a quiet time wrapped in a blanket by the campfire.

Pattie worked for Sotheby’s International Real Estate from 1991 until she retired in 2009. She was gifted with administrative skills and handled all of the paperwork and closings for an office full of busy realtors, which was rewarding and satisfying for her.

On July 5, 1992, she married Patrick Williams in Thompson Falls, Montana. They resided in Jackson Hole until 2019, when they moved to Park Rapids.

Her sons, Bob and Scout, were the love of her life and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Her four grandchildren became the focus of her love and concern in these last years.

Pattie is survived by her husband, Patrick of Park Rapids; sons Bob Trim of Big Fork, Montana, and Scout (Christina) Trim of Shelby Township, Michigan; four grandchildren, Jackson, Andrew, Evan, and Ellison (Ellie) Trim; siblings Maureen (Jeff) Daugherty of West Branch, Michigan, Vicky (Patrick) McClusky of Ortonville, Michigan, Penny Arnold of Pontiac, Vivian Anderson of Alma, Michigan, Judy (Terry) McClusky of Harrison, Michigan, Dawn McClusky of Harrison, Albert (Angela) Kuerbitz, Jr. of Sterlin Heights, Michigan, and Ricky Kuerbitz of Pontiac.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Patricia Kuerbitz; and brothers Brad O’Brien and Tommy Moore.

Funeral services were held on May 21.

Arrangements were made by Cease Family Funeral Home. Friends may leave online condolences at CeaseFuneralHome.com.
